SWOT ANALYSIS OF MMM by Eusebia Madziwa (21/09/2016)
Strengths of MMM
1. The interests rates for money that has been used to provide help is much higher than that of money deposited in banks and that fact attracts people to join MMM.
2. The money used by the MMM system is virtual, the real money is with the MMM Community and this guards against having the MMM money stolen by anyone. This fact increases the trust in MMM that attracts people to join MMM.
 3. The MMM website gives the MMM community visibility and control of all their money transactions through each person’s Personal Office. This transparency of the system attracts people to join MMM.  

Weakness of MMM
1. The stability of the MMM system is dependent on the attitude of the people in the MMM community and because people are unpredictable and complex in nature the result of that is an MMM system that is volatile and that gives no guarantees.
2. The stability of the MMM system is lost when the outgoing income is more than the incoming income and this happens if the amount being requested in get-help is more than the amount being offered to provide-help. This usually happens when the MMM Community panic due to the financial environment in the country they live or due to the negative campaigns against MMM by financial organizations who feel threatened by MMM.  

Opportunities
1. The strengths of MMM are used to create MMM opportunities by:
i. advertising every MMM success story through the letter of happiness and videos on the MMM website.
ii. Word-of-mouth advertising by happy MMM members.
iii. use of social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and blogs to advertise MMM  

Threats
1. The weakness of MMM create threats that may result in:
 i. The pause mode of the MMM system so as to try to resuscitate the system. During this pause mode MMM community members and potential members can lose trust in MMM. This lost of trust can result in further panic get-helps and reduced provide-helps which may cause the MMM system to collapse temporarily.
 ii. The restart mode of the MMM system so as to revive an MMM system that would have failed resuscitation through the pause mode might cause MMM community members to completely lose trust in MMM and leave the community.
